Paul DeFonzo

Wielding a formidable pen, Paul has married his two greatest interests into this magnum opus. A SABR member and retired jurist, he now devotes his time to his family, Jupiter the giant hound, two cats, and scrivening the yearly illustrated history of baseball. Throughout his life he has endeavored to rally friends and colleagues to the diamond so that (to paraphrase a quote borrowed by Walt Whitman) all could go forth a while, get better air in our lungs, and enjoy the glorious game of baseball. He hopes this book inspires the same.
